Minahasa Triduum Sacrum Tour 7D6N

Initially, embark on a profound spiritual pilgrimage to the heart of North Sulawesi with our Minahasa Triduum Sacrum Tour. Specifically designed to align with the holiest days of the Christian calendar, this 7-day journey offers a rare opportunity to experience the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Christ within the serene “Highland Sanctuary” of Tomohon and Minahasa. Because the local community observes these days with deep devotion, you will find yourself immersed in a culture where faith and nature are one. From the solemn reflection of Maundy Thursday to the dramatic beauty of the Good Friday processions, every moment is crafted to rejuvenate your spirit. Consequently, this Minahasa Triduum Sacrum Tour is not just a sightseeing trip; rather, it is a “Religious Escapade” that allows you to walk the path of the Triduum amidst the cool mountain air and blooming lilies of the Minahasa land.

The Sacred Path: Minahasa Triduum Sacrum Tour

Moreover, the journey celebrates the joy of the Resurrection by connecting you with the vibrant natural wonders of the region. For instance, after the triumphant Passover Sunday Mass, you will transition from spiritual reflection to physical exhilaration. Whether you are exploring the “Cradle of Culture” on a Highland Tour or standing on the volcanic rim of Mount Mahawu to witness the “New Creation” of a Sulawesi sunrise, the experience is breathtaking. Since we believe that nature is a reflection of the Divine, trekking through lush forests and volcanic landscapes serves as a powerful reminder of life’s resilience. Ultimately, whether you continue your adventure to the reefs of Bunaken or carry the peace of the highlands back home, you leave with a soul that has been truly “Risen.” Thus, this Easter expedition is the ultimate blend of sacred tradition and volcanic majesty.

  • 18.00 onward | Quiet Evening: Personal time for prayer and meditation (Dinner at guest’s own arrangement).

HOLY SATURDAY – TOMOHON WALKING TOUR | DAY 3 – (B, L)

  • 08.00 – 11.00 | The City of Preparation: Tomohon Walking Tour. Initially, we explore the hidden streets, the bustling downtown, and the traditional market. Specifically, we witness the city in a “Floral Rush” as locals gather lilies and roses for the Resurrection.
  • 11.00 – 13.00 | The Heights of Harmony: Visiting Bukit Inspirasi and the Pagoda Ekayana in Kakaskasen. Since these sites sit side-by-side, they offer a moment of “Sacred Silence” and breathtaking highland architecture. • 17.00 – 18.00 | Return to Hotel and Free Time.

MINAHASA HIGHLAND TOUR | DAY 5 – (B, L)

  • 07.00 – 09.00 | Breakfast and Personal Preparation

  • 11.00 – 13.00 | The Spirit of the Land: Visiting the Woloan Rice Fields and Traditional House Industry. Since the rice fields are the lifeblood of the highlands, seeing them alongside the famous “Knock-down” houses shows a culture built on both nature and craft.
  • 13.00 – 14.30 | Harvest Lunch: A lakeside culinary feast at Lake Tondano. Because the breeze off the water is so refreshing, it’s the best place to enjoy local flavors.
  • 14.30 – 16.30 | Heritage Exploration: Connecting with the ancestors at the ancient Waruga in Benteng Moraya, followed by a visit to the sacred Batu Pinabetengan. Thus, we bridge the gap between ancient history and modern faith.

  • 08.00 – 09.00 | Breakfast and Energy Prep

  • 10.30 – 12.00 | Crater Wonders: Standing on the Lake Linow rim. Because the air is so crisp and the view of the crater lake is so still, it’s a perfect moment for a “Volcanic Lake Meditation.”
  • 12.00 – 13.30 | Mountain Flavors: A hearty lunch at a local restaurant near the base.
  • 13.30 – 15.30 | Volcanic Recovery: A relaxing soak at the Ranolewo Hot Spring. Since these thermal waters are born from the earth’s heart, it is the ultimate way to soothe your muscles after the trek.
  • 15.30 – 16.30 | The Garden of Colors: Visiting Taman Wisata Pelangi. Specifically, since it sits in the shadow of the mighty Mount Lokon, it is the perfect place to relax and photograph the “hidden streets” of the flower terraces.
  • 16.30 – 17.30 | Return to the hotel for a final “Highland Rest.”

CARRYING THE EASTER LIGHT AND DEPARTURE | DAY 7 – (B)

Initially, your final morning in the “Northern Sanctuary” begins with a gentle highland breakfast and the quiet peace of a soul renewed. While you pack your bags, you’ll realize that you aren’t just taking home photos of volcanoes; rather, you are carrying the spirit of the Minahasa Triduum Sacrum: the warmth of the Eucharist, the scent of the Easter lilies, and the echoes of the “Hallelujah” sung in the mountain mist. Because you have walked the “Hidden Streets” and stood on the rim of the world, the sanctuary of Minahasa has become a part of your own story. Consequently, you don’t leave as a tourist, but as a pilgrim of the light.

Moreover, as our private transfer takes you down from the clouds toward Sam Ratulangi International Airport, the descent offers one last look at the silhouette of Mount Lokon. Since we believe that a journey of faith never truly ends, we don’t consider this a goodbye. Ultimately, you leave with a heart as vibrant as the gardens of Tomohon and a spirit as steady as the ancient stones of Batu Pinabetengan. Thus, as you board your flight to Singapore, Europe, or beyond, you carry the peace of the Resurrection with you. Therefore, we simply say, “Until we meet again in the highlands.”
