DOLPHIN WATCHING

Dolphins are brilliant animal. The natural system is very complex in dolphin’s body. Dolphin’s skin inspires swimsuits design because the skin is able to reduce the friction with water. The sonar inspires the technology of submarine radar. Dolphins are marine mammals. Therefore they need to rise to the surface to breathe. We can watch this marine mammals when they are on the surface. Dolphins are usually in big group. The sight of them swimming not far from the boat is amazing. On Manado aquatique, we do dolphin watching at Bunaken National Park.

THE NATIONAL PARK

Bunaken, Siladen and Manado Tua are islands in Bunaken National Park. This national park is as wide as 75,265 Ha. This national park is rich with fishes and corals. The drop-offs have panoramic scenery with them. When snorkeling, or diving, visitor can observe the fishes and corals there. Manado aquatique is designed for snorkeling trip at Bunaken, Siladen and Manado Tua.

THE CALDERA

Mount Tondano in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, has a 20 × 30 km wide caldera which was formed in the Late Miocene or Early Pliocene formed by a massive eruption. Lake Tondano lies in the east side of the caldera. Activities on Lake Tondano include fishing, spearfishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing and many more. Tondano Lake is a destination on Manado Aquatique.

WHITE WATER RAFTING

Rafting is a recreational outdoor activities. It utilzes inflatable raft to naviigate a river. Anyone can participate in whitewater rafting. However, age,  physical condition and medical conditions are factors. Rafting trips are environmentally friendly, as no pollution is involved. During Manado Aquatique, you will do white water rafting on Nimanga river in Timbukar, Sonder. It is a 9 km long within 2-3 hours rafting. Sometime a change is as good as a rest.
